Hello, it’s me.

First, some deep thoughts...

"The Earth has music for those who listen."- Unknown Author

The above quote came to me in a card sent by my mother, and it perfectly describes my perspective and passion as a photographer. Creating compelling pictures that tell a story, your story, makes me feel deeply alive and incredibly honored. When complex elements of a photo weave together to create magic, I feel it in my core. I see beautiful moments, light, and photo opportunities everywhere I look. Photography invites us to remember, reflect, and relive treasured moments in time. I would love to create authentic photos of your family and brand that invite you into the meaning and beauty of this period in your life.

Now, for some not-so-deep thoughts...

I love lists. I'm a huge fan of the color turquoise. I am a mama to three humans: two crazy boys and one sweet, wild child girl. I grew up on the same lake where the movie What About Bob was filmed (located in Virginia versus New Jersey as the movie portrays). I was married in Las Vegas, yet we did not elope. I am one of four “kids” and love the energy and chaos that comes with big families. I adore the number seven. In back-to-back years, LeBron James and I shared the honor of being named NBA's “Rookie of the Year,” however my award came on the business end and sadly they don't cover that on ESPN. I was once a state park ranger at the above-mentioned lake. And finally, I love small business talk.

“Megan is incredibly professional, thoughtful and really takes the time to understand your objectives and how you want your brand to be reflected. Her intentionality is reflected in the quality of her work. She’s collaborative and positive, listening to client needs and then coming to the table with creative ideas to bring those ideas to life.”
